Who This Is For

Our programs are designed for professionals who already understand care delivery — but want to step into leadership and build their own service.

  • Community Nurses

  • Home Care Case Managers

  • NDIS Providers

Our focus across all three groups, our mission is the same:

To help experienced care professionals move from working inside service systems to leading and building services of their own.

Why Most New Home Care Providers Struggle

Starting a Home Care Business is NOT Just “Register and Go”

The Industry Is Changing — Fast

The introduction of the Aged Care Act 2024 and the transition to Support at Home is reshaping how providers operate.

  • Compliance expectations are increasing.

  • Documentation standards are tightening.

  • Operational accountability is becoming non-negotiable.

Yet many new providers attempt to enter the sector without structured preparation.

Building a Home Care Business Is Not Just Registration

It requires:

✔ Governance structure
✔ Clear operational workflows
✔ Risk management systems
✔ Compliance documentation
✔ Sustainable client strategy
✔ Financial modelling

Without experience of understanding new funding model, services design, pricing position, and client acquisition, paperworks alone is not enough.

Where Most New Providers Go Wrong

  • They underestimate regulatory complexity

  • They rely on informal advice or outdated information

  • They focus on registration before operational readiness

  • They lack structured client acquisition strategy

  • They build paperwork — but not systems

The result?

  • Delayed approvals.

  • Operational stress.

  • Cash flow pressure.

  • Unnecessary regulatory exposure.

Why I Built This Platform

Meet YU

Founder of The Human Side of Aged Care in AI Era

Hi, I am Yu ZHANG.

I have spent years working in home care as a clinical case manager, community clinical lead, and operations manager, leading teams supporting thousands of clients across the country.

During this time, I observed a recurring challenge in the industry. Many experienced aged care staffs want to build their own home care businesses — but lack structured guidance on how to transition from workforce contributor to business owner.

At the same time, the industry is undergoing rapid transformation driven by policy reform and emerging technology. I built this platform to help professionals navigate this transition by combining practical operational knowledge, industry insight, and structured business preparation.

Building the human side of home care in the AI era is about helping professionals prepare for the future of home care while continuing to serve seniors and families they care about.

This platform is not about encouraging unnecessary risk. It is about helping the next generation of home care founders prepare intelligently and responsibly.
